Making Color Work for You - Working with Color

Class Length: 4 or 6 hours

Description

Learn to work with color with confidence. In this hands-on class you will work through a series of exercises on the elements of color, color relationships, and the color wheel.

I use simple, straight-forward explanations and visual aids to explain the properties of hue, value, intensity, color temperature and undertones. We then use these properties in our work with the color wheel.

You will build a color reference book to use as a "jumpstart" in planning future projects.

Skills and Skill Levels required for class

Suitable for all skill levels (it is helpful if I know if a student is color blind).

• Optional: students may bring samples of favorite or problem colors
